Because of the epic nature of the story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one story, told in two parts.

Part Two will only be half the story, and it may be difficult to understand Part Two without seeing Part One first.

ARRIVAL TIME

Matinee performances begin promptly at 2PM and

evening performances at 7:30PM

PLEASE ARRIVE FROM UP TO 45 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE START TIME

Please arrive from up to 45 minutes before the start time of each performance in order to ensure you are seated in good time. There are bars with refreshments to enjoy and opportunities to purchase official merchandise before the show.

LATECOMERS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED UNTIL INTERMISSION

The show is not recommended for children under 10 years of age. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 4 are not permitted in the theatre due to the length of the production and impact of some scenes. Please note that children under the age of 15 require the accompaniment of an adult to be admitted to the theatre, to ensure suitable care is provided throughout the entire production.

TICKET COLLECTION

If you have selected mobile tickets, these tickets will be available via your Ticketmaster account 72 hours prior to the date of your performance.

If you have given your tickets as a gift, please follow these steps to forward your tickets to the person attending the show.

If you are collecting tickets from the Box Office, the card holder must be present with the payment card used for the booking and a government issued photo ID.

SECURITY CHECKS 

The Princess Theatre values your security and safety. As such, security screening will be taking place at the theatre prior to admittance for both Parts One and Two of the Play. In accordance with the Theatre Conditions of Entry, all bags will be searched upon entry and any Prohibited or Restricted items, including alcohol or professional photography, video or audio recording equipment will not be allowed inside the building.  Patrons may also be subject to further screening if warranted. No suitcases or large bags with dimensions greater than A3 will be allowed into the theatre and there will be no storage space immediately outside. Please make arrangements to leave suitcases and large bags elsewhere.

Personal items cannot be left at your seats between Parts and you must take all your belongings with you.

RUNNING TIME

The running time of Part One is 2 hours and 40 minutes and Part Two is 2 hours and 35 minutes (incl. one 20 min. intermission per Part).

BARS AND MERCHANDISE 

Princess Theatre Bars

Bars are situated in the Stalls (downstairs) and Dress Circle (upstairs) Foyers. All bars open one hour prior to show time. You can pre-order your interval drinks or snacks at any bar before the show and collect from a designated spot at interval to avoid the queues.

Merchandise

The main merchandise shop is situated in the Stalls Foyer. The shop is open from 10am-5pm, Mondays and Tuesdays and from 10am until after the final performance on all other days.

On performance days, the merchandise stall in the upstairs Dress Circle Foyer opens one hour prior to show time.

In order to help you plan your visit, we have compiled a list of a variety of restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the theatre.

CAST MEMBERS

Please note that some cast members may differ between Parts if you have not booked consecutive performances of Part One and Part Two within the same week. Please also note that the appearance of any particular cast member cannot be guaranteed in the unforeseen event of illness or other circumstances beyond our control.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT

The use of photography and recording equipment of any kind is prohibited.

Unauthorised recordings will be confiscated and deleted.
