Covid-19 Update: Performances through April 30, 2020 have been suspended

The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child San Francisco and the Curran Theater are committed to the safety and peace of mind of all audiences, cast, crew, and theatre staff, and we have been closely monitoring the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) situation. The San Francisco Health Officer has restricted all events to a maximum of 100 persons, so we must temporarily suspend performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child through April 30, 2020.

We fully understand that this is disappointing and inconvenient for ticket holders and we have a ticket exchange policy in place now for March and April performances. A decision about performances in May and beyond will be made at a later date in line with the recommendations of health officials. Ticket holders for March and April performances are being contacted now and should email curranboxoffice@theambassadors.com or contact their original point of purchase to exchange their orders.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon, where the magic continues on stage!

The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and our Theatres have a commitment to the safety and peace of mind of all its audiences, cast and company, and theatre staff.  In line with the latest advice from governments on the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, the producers have had-to make changes to performance schedules across our different territories, and this regrettably involves the temporary cancellation of some shows whilst measures are in place.

Local and national health authority advice varies from production to production in different cities and is evolving on a daily basis, but please be assured that the producers are working closely with government and health organizations around the world to ensure we are following the very latest advice.

We are listening to the concerns of ticket holders and have ticket refund and exchange policies in place. The very latest information on the performance schedule and ticket exchange policy for the productions is on our website, and will be regularly updated on the websites and social media channels for each production.

Thanks for your patience while we determine the best course of action in a rapidly developing situation, where the health and safety of audiences and staff must come first.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon, where the magic continues on stage!
